Our first trip to France was in 1996 and we both fell in love with the country
and with the beautiful city of Paris in particular.
We loved France so much that we decided to buy a place there. It was on
our third trip that we set off looking and after some searching, we found our
first apartment in the Marais District. What we noticed when we stayed in the
apartment was the accessibility, as well as the refreshing change from hotel
living. To have our own kitchen and living space made such a difference to our
stay. We started having guests in this apartment as we felt that staying in an
apartment was the best way for people to really experience Parisian life. The
feedback we get from our guests is that having experienced apartment living,
they would not return to hotels.
Our first apartment was such a success with Australian guests that we
subsequently bought a studio in 2001 – both have been a success with many of
our visitors coming back and staying with us again.
Since then, we have been approached by both Australian and French
apartment owners to promote and rent out their Paris properties. Six of the
apartments you see on the website are owned by Melbourne people (ours
included) and the rest are French owned. Tony visits these apartments
regularly to make sure they are well-maintained and equipped with everything
to make your stay in Paris memorable.
We chose all of our apartments particularly for their central location in Paris,
this means you can easily walk to most of the main places of interest from your
apartment and there are an enormous range of the shops, boutiques,
boulangeries, bars and restaurants virtually on your doorstep.
We want all our guests to feel comfortable and to really enjoy their stay in
Paris so they will want to come back and visit again – just like we do! Some of
our clients have stayed with us a number of times and many have
recommended the apartments to their friends. In fact a lot of our bookings
come via personal referrals.
